Coach Perry on Thomas: “Charles is an excellent athlete who has great range as a shooter. He has improved his ballhandling skills, which will enhance his ability to create his own shot. His past Final Four experience will benefit our team.”
Charles Thomas returns to the hardwood after transferring to EKU from the University of Minnesota in July, 1997, and sitting out last season. During that season at Minnesota, Charles had a career-best 17 points vs. Temple as the Golden Gophers went 31-4 and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
